Ok, so this recipe is REALLY, REALLY good and it's the easiest thing to make. It’s a perfect side dish to any meal and it's SUPER healthy. Here are some of the reasons I chose the ingredients in this dish:
Coconut Oil: Helps memory and cognitive function, aids in weight loss, increases energy, speeds up the metabolism, boosts immune system, relieves constipation, and brings emotional balance by managing hormone levels.
Onions: Improves immunity, regulates blood sugar, reduces inflammation, lowers bad cholesterol, prevents cancer, scavenges free radicals (cancer causing molecules), and is rich in vitamin A.
Garlic: Combats sickness, reduces blood pressure, lowers the risk of heart disease, helps prevent Alzheimer’s and dementia, and detoxifies heavy metals in the body.
Spinach: High in antioxidants, fights free radicals in the body which prevents cancer, beneficial for eye health and vision, regulates blood pressure, and prevents blood clots.
Curry Powder: Helps with Alzheimer’s disease, prevents cancer, relieves pain and inflammation, reduces blood pressure, and detoxifies the liver.
Bragg’s Liquid Amino Acids: Contains 16 of the 20 amino acids which the body uses for digestion, tissue growth, and repair.
Lemon Essential Oil: Increases energy, cleanses kidney, lymphatic and vascular symptoms, flushes out toxins and uplifts moods.
Shrimp: Is high in omega-3 fatty acids helping brain function and contains carotenoid and selenium which is a unique antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. (Super important side note: make sure your shrimp are NOT from Asia. Most Shrimp from Asian countries are contaminated. Check out this article for more information).
